New Life Children Haven seeks to:
Story on how
it started
Everyday there is a new fear in the life of a child
in Nepal. Here, it does not matter who comes to power always orates
about child rights it is just reversible when it comes to practicality.
First meeting and second sitting and it t is all over until their
regimes collapses. The need to advocate on these issues is so important.
There are more than a million children that are abandoned to street.

The socio economic
structure in Nepal plays vital role for this cause. The society
is built on castes base and communal. One community people
in reality disregard the other. Attitude as such, has massive
impact on child's life and it affects them morally, socially,
physically and most of all mentally.
Another Major problem, why these children are
abandoned is due to extreme poverty. Family having no source
of income and land to cultivate and earn their living has
more children. This is common in such family, since, they
have no access in formations and are unschooled. Such families
are always deprived of so many things. The country has no
industry and factories that can offer job to poor and homeless,
suppressed and marginalized community.

Children from above mentioned community are at greater
risk to all kind of imminent problems. Some one needs to take the
lead to help these children. With this vision we started working
among the poorest of the poor, street children and orphans. This
NLCH what started with great effort and it was without any sponsor
with dozen of orphans from the far western and most remotest part
of the mountainside. There was nothing around us that could really
inspire us except the presence of poor children themselves.
We started with community service and slowly it kept getting more
and more into the information of the people. The work kept expanding
now we have raised more than 500 children some are in the colleges
and some are doing fine in the government office.
New life children Haven exists to meet and minister
to the need of these helpless, homeless and orphanages has more
than five divisional homes where we accommodate more than 300 children
at present. Keeping all these children in one place would be truly
impossible to give them attention, care and love they deserve. For
this reason also we have homes in five different places.
As the work grows, needs at the same time stands at
the fore front as threat and challenge.
We are still under massive pressure and the needs
are soaring everyday, as we are in desperate condition, any help
that come to our way would mean great reliefs to us as it will support
these children in proper, caring and loving way and raise them to
be a good human being that would convey the message of humanity
to the world.
